Holy Angel University (HAU) recorded a total of 10,703 college students for the first semester of Academic Year (AY) 2024 – 2025 as of July 16, 2024 — 273 or 2.5% short compared to the same semester of the previous school year.

In the enrollment statistics provided to The Angelite by the University Registrar and Chief Enrollment Officer Dr. Jesus Panlilio, the total number of students enrolled for the second semester last school year was 10,055. Among them, 1,876 already graduated, bringing the expected number of enrollees to continue for the first semester of AY 2024 – 2025 to 8,179.

However, only 7,848 of them continued their studies in the university. In addition 2,855 freshmen enrolled at HAU, bringing the total actual enrollees to 10,703.

There is also a slight decline in freshmen enrollment this semester — 44 lower than the 2,899 enrollees from the preceding school year.

A drop in enrollment has been recorded in all schools and colleges, with the highest decline coming from the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) and School of Business and Accountancy (SBA) with 162 and 65 non-enrollees among their continuing students, respectively.
