Over the months of June to August 2024, issues stemming from the university level—including campus facilities in a state of disrepair and student government overhauls—alongside local and nationwide concerns such as the continuance of political dynasties in and out of Angeles City, campus press freedom violations, and the like, all reveal that administrative incompetence transcends the campus walls and extends beyond.
Such are presented in the first tabloid release of The Angelite for the academic year 2024 – 2025.
Featuring shared stories of victories and struggles of Angelites and the larger masses, the June – August 2024 Tabloid aims to draw parallels between the realities experienced inside the walls of academia, and on ground in communities.
These stories, far from being mere narrations of the plights experienced by the people, are crafted to serve as beacons—revealing the truth about the actual state of the university’s community and society at large, and igniting spirits of all in our continued fight for genuine democracy, press freedom, inclusivity, equality, and societal liberation.
