The release is centered on reclaiming the popular idiom as a reminder that the blood shed during Martial Law continues to loom—a permanent stain to the name of the Marcoses that can never be erased, no matter how they try to build a clean slate. 

It features articles, literary works, and standalone illustrations that boldly rejects the notion that the current president, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., stands apart from the brutal legacy of his dictator father through remembering the martyrs, unraveling hidden truths, and highlighting the evident parallelism of the past and present Marcos administration.
