HAU Golden Guardians women’s volleyball team clinched victory by default in the 22nd National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (NAASCU) season after opponent New Era University (NEU) Hunters forfeited their match on May 20.

With the tournament set at Enderun Colleges in Taguig City, the Golden Guardians were handed an easy victory after the Hunters failed to arrive in the tournament within the 15-minute grace period, boosting HAU’s record to 2-0 in the elimination round.

With back-to-back wins, the lady Golden Guardians are gaining momentum as they gear up for their upcoming match against Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) on May 27, once again at Enderun Colleges.

Meanwhile, in the men’s division, the Golden Guardians are set to face the NEU Hunters on May 23 at Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU).
