HAU men’s volleyball team bounced back with a strong 3 – 1 victory over the University of Makati (UMAK) Hardy Herons, while the women’s team suffered a straight-sets loss to Enderun Colleges (EC) Titans, 0 – 3.

Marking their second game at the 23rd NAASCU, held at the Philippine Christian University Manila Gymnasium on March 14, the male Golden Guardians opened strong in the first set, taking a commanding 25 – 17 win before the Hardy Herons fought back in the second to even the match, 18 – 25.

Regaining their rhythm, the Guardians edged out the Herons in a tightly contested third set, 25 – 22, before sealing the match with a narrow 25 – 23.

While the ladies, despite winning their opener, struggled to break through the defense of the EC Lady Titans, eventually falling in straight sets, 20 – 25, 22 – 25, 19 – 25.

Following the day’s results, both HAU teams now hold identical 1 – 1 win-loss records.
